Been a minute.
Thanksgiving was nice -- but I've been sick as a dog since then.... boo. :P
OK, I need help from my blogger friends -- I have a project for school where I need to build some sort of interface.
I'm thinking blogging software.
I need to turn in (TOMORROW nite!) a report of what users would want that software to be like... soooooooooo
If you could build your own blogging program:
1) What features would be a must have?
2) What features do you hate and should not be included?
3) What features do you use the most now?
4) What do you never use?
Any other info you can give me would be great!

The interface would be drag and drop compatible and allow for basic photo editing as well as a very sophisticated html editor. Lots of file storage space. Easily customizable templates.

I would like a blog editor to be "What you see is what you get" with drag and drop capabilities to links and photos. Also, I made the rookie mistake of deleting photos on my computer not knowing that they would also delete on my blog posts. It would be nice if the photos were saved along with the text.

I agree with 8thday on the picture thing (had that happen to me as well) & I love the idea of the drag & drop too. Other than that, I'm really a 1.0 kinda blogger so I'm not much help.

1. MUST be able to post blogs by email. Or cell phone.
2. Would be super if you could email a blog post with a photo in it and have the photo actually show up.
3. Really super awesome visitor tracking stuff BUILT IN.
4. Stealth blogging... If my work's internet figures out it's a blog, I can't go. So it has to totally pretend it's, like, the news or something.
5. You know what would be hella awesome? If reader comments were emailed to you, and replying would post a reply comment to the blog.
